Founder
David A. Kaufman, Esq. is an experienced and focused business and civil litigation attorney, having practiced law since 1987.
In 1991, Mr. Kaufman founded David A. Kaufman and Associates Trial Attorneys and is the founder of Kaufman Law LLC.

Mr. Kaufman graduated from the Geis College of Business, University of Illinois Champaign/Urbana in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance. In 1987, Mr. Kaufman received his Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law.
During law school, Mr. Kaufman served as a legal extern for the Honorable George N. Leighton, Senior Judge, United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Mr. Kaufman is a results-driven business and civil litigation attorney with a strong track record of representing businesses, organizations and individuals in legal disputes. With both a JD and MBA, Mr. Kaufman brings strategic insight and practical judgment to every case. Whether it's a breach of contract, partnership dispute, real estate litigation, or high-stakes tort matter, Mr. Kaufman will assist the client in providing legal options and risk/reward analysis. Mr. Kaufman has successfully defended and prosecuted cases in both state and federal courts across Illinois, and has experience handling pre-litigation negotiations, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation. Mr. Kaufman is client-focused, detail-oriented, responsive, and intent on achieving efficient and favorable outcomes.

Leonard J. Brenner concentrates his practice in corporate and business matters, contracts, business transactions, real estate, and estate planning. Mr. Brenner is licensed to practice law in both Illinois and Wisconsin.
Mr. Brenner graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1984, from Northern Illinois University in 1979 with a degree in accounting, and practiced in public accounting before attending law school.

Kevin Rosner, Esq.
Of Counsel
Mr. Rosner represents clients primarily in divorce and criminal matters including DUI throughout Northern Illinois and with deep experience in courts on the North Shore, in Chicago and throughout its collar counties. For nearly two decades, Mr. Rosner has helped clients with their family law and criminal matters.
Mr. Rosner is a skilled negotiator with experience in motion practice and trials, helping to protect rights and mitigate challenging circumstances. Mr. Rosner is adept in solving the complex social and economic issues involved in his clients' matters.
As a sole practitioner, Mr. Rosner works closely with each client to understand their goals and unique needs, using his skills to help them achieve the most favorable resolutions of their matters.
Mr. Rosner began his legal career as a public defender in Chicago and later worked for a private law firm, focusing his practice on criminal defense and family law/divorce. Here Mr. Rosner realized that in his own law practice he could focus more fully on an individualized approach to helping clients.
